Michael Leznar (VP Engineering & Product Management)

Mike manages the Engineering group and is responsible for Product Management, Product Development, Quality Assurance and Support.

Prior to his appointment with Choreology, Mike worked as a consultant Product Manager for Hewlett-Packard, responsible for their Java based distributed transaction and messaging software portfolio (JTS, JMS and XTS - a technology preview of Transactions for Web Services). In this role Mike was responsible for leading and driving the evolution of transaction and messaging product lines and associated software, defining product strategy and working closely with the engineering and marketing teams in the UK and the USA.

Mike has also previously worked for Unisys in various worldwide locations and positions in both engineering management and senior technical consulting roles for over 15 years, specialising in high volume transaction processing, 4GL software, database software and B2B integration.

Throughout his career, he has worked with many different transaction processing environments, database software and middelware on diverse hardware and software platforms; his experience with implementation of large transaction based applications is extensive.

Mike has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Computing Science) degree with Honours from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.
