Date: Thursday 3rd July 2003
Venue: London, UK, 1 Poultry, EC2
Details: Breakfast Seminar
with Cape Clear Software, HSBC and Choreology at the Coq d'Argent
restaurant, 1 Poultry, London EC2 on Thursday 3rd July 2003.
The financial community is faced with the challenge of integrating
applications and information every day. This 2 hour breakfast seminar
offers an excellent environment in which to understand how Web Services
technologies and products are being applied in the financial sector.
Alastair Green, Choreology’s CEO and CTO will describe how
transactional business interactions and processes can be coordinated
and synchronized at an application level, using the Web Services
capability of BTM products such as Cohesions. Common themes in the
trade processing flow include cross-silo and up/downstream consistency;
mutual assured knowledge between parties, counterparties and agents;
correct ordering of reference and trade data; intra-day fail notifications
and automated crash recovery. Choreology is also active in the Web
Services BPEL standards effort: hear an update on current directions
in BPM-BTM integration.
