BCM - Business Conversation Management
Business Conversations are the interactions between the workflows of different parties. For example, the interactions between one party’s BPEL purchasing process and another party’s BPEL sales order and fulfillment process.
The W3C WS-Choreography Work Group is all about defining these interactions, and we think that is important, so we participate in that group. In particular, we have tried to get business transactions well integrated with the WS-Choreography Description Language, WS-CDL. If WS-CDL succeeds, it could become the language for defining business protocols.
