Worldwide Web Consortium and WS-Choreography The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) develops interoperable technologies (specifications, guidelines, software, and tools) to lead the Web to its full potential. Dr Tony Fletcher, a member of the Choreology Technical Advisory Panel, is an active participant in the Worldwide Web Consortium’s work to specify a language for describing choreographies. Choreology’s aim is to ensure that any choreographies that are transactional have the ability to state in the language where a transaction starts, exactly what is included and where and how it completes. To this end we have made two submissions to the W3C WS-Choreography Working Group. The first, in September 2003, on transaction requirements for the WS-Choreography language and the second, in February 2004, on model overview participant and role types, and transactions. |
